Dr. Vasco Marques went to medical school at Faculdade de Ciencias Medicas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal. He did his rotating internship at Hospitals Civas de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal. His cardiology fellowship was done at Hospital Universitario Pulido Valente, Lisbon, Portugal. He then came to the United States and did his residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York, Brooklyn. Following this, he performed his fellowship at University of Pittsburgh in cardiology and also his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Connecticut Medical Center. He currently practices at Florida Hospital-Tampa, and Florida Hospital-Carrollwood. Dr. Marques is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He has professional memberships with The American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, American College of Phlebology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He has keen interests in Cardiac Catheterizations, Interventional Cardiology, Thrombectomy (clot removal), Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Venous Ablation.
Asad Sawar, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Asad Sawar went to medical school at Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. Following his graduation, he performed his fellowship at University of South Florida in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. Soon after, he went to Bridgeport Hospital at Yale University to complete his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. He currently practices at Florida Hospital-Tampa, and Florida Hospital-Carrollwood. Dr. Sawar is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. Along with those, he is also board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He has professional memberships with The American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, and Florida Medical Association. Victor Feliz, M.D.
Dr. Victor Feliz was born in Dominican Republic and grew up in Puerto Rico. He attended medical school at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at University of South Florida in Tampa after a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Feliz worked for several years at the VA medical centers in Tampa and Bay Pines. He is currently practicing at Florida Hospital-Tampa, Florida Hospital-Wesley Chapel and Tampa Community Hospital (former Town & Country). Dr. Feliz is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular disease, Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He has professional memberships with The American College of Cardiology, The Tampa bay Latin American Medical Society and Colegio de Médicos de PR. He has special interests in Cardiac Catheterizations, Pacemaker, Echocardiography and Venous Ablation. Dr. Feliz is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Roberta Moore, MPH-ARNP
Roberta Moore, MS, MPH, NPC was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She attended nursing school at Hillsborough Community College, and completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing at the University of South Florida. Roberta worked as a registered nurse at Tampa General Hospital, Florida Hospital Tampa, and Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. She also worked at other hospitals in the Tampa Bay Area as an agency nurse. She also held leadership positions as a Team Leader, Cardiovascular Coordinator, Nursing Supervisor, and Nurse Manager at Florida Hospital Tampa. Roberta went on to complete a dual Masters in Public Health and Master’s in Science degrees from the University of South Florida. She is a Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She currently practices at Florida HospitalTampa, Florida HospitalWesley Chapel and Tampa Community Hospital (formerly Town & Country Hospital). Roberta has professional memberships with the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Phlebology. She has special interests in venous disease, sclerotherapy, women’s cardiovascular health, public health, and occupational health.

Gustavo Lopez, RDCS, RVS
Gustavo Lopez, RDCS, RVS, RPhS, was born in Puerto Rico. He moved to Florida as an adolescent, and attended Ultasound Diagnostic School where he earned his AS Degree. He is currently obtaining his Bachelor’s in Science of Echocardiography through Oregon Institute of Technology. Gustavo serves as the Technological Director of the Echocardiography Lab, Vascular Lab, and Vein Center at Tampa Cardiovascular Associates. He is Board Certified as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Specialist, and Registered Phlebology Sonographer. Gustavo has over 15 years of experience and his special interests include 3D echocardiography, speckle tracking, and venous procedures. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Jesus Ojeda, CNMT
Jesus Ojeda, CNMT, grew up in Tampa, Florida. Jesus is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He attended Hillsborough Community College in Tampa where he completed an Associate of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Jesus was awarded the prestigious Mallinckrodt Award of Excellence. This is an award is earned by honors student who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement in the study of nuclear medicine and radiologic science. Jesus is a Board Certified Nuclear Medicine technologist with 34 years of experience. Jesus enjoys traveling.
